Crown Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback

From Everything.Sucks

The Crown is a historical drama web television series about the reign of Queen Elizabeth II, created and principally written by Peter Morgan, and produced by Left Bank Pictures and Sony Pictures Television for Netflix. It grew out of Morgan's film The Queen (2006) and his stage play The Audience (2013), and is credited as based on the latter. The first season covers the period from Queen Elizabeth and Philip, Duke of Edinburgh's marriage in 1947 to the disintegration of her sister Princess Margaret's engagement to Group Captain Peter Townsend in 1955. The second season covers the period from the Suez Crisis in 1956 to the retirement of Prime Minister Harold Macmillan in 1963 and the birth of Prince Edward in 1964. The third season spans the period between 1964 and 1977, including Harold Wilson's two periods as prime minister, and introduces Camilla Shand. The fourth will include Margaret Thatcher's premiership and introduce Lady Diana Spencer. The fifth and sixth seasons, which will close the series, will cover the Queen's reign into the 21st century.

Anette Givens mentioned, "Oh My God please bring back the originalThe Crown cast! Pay them what they ask! Use Taylor Perry Studio if need be...Just bring them back for season 4-the end. The new one is horrible (sorry)! The voices are terrible and it’s just hard to watch, but since I watched the first two seasons, I wanted to see more of the history."

"Management sucks they are overpaid cry babies and lead techs suck as well very little help and if you are the low man on totom pole you get treated poorly Cons: Everything"

Technician (Current Employee) says

"Cover ups from the USA & Ontario CROWN upper regional managers! I have never seen in my 30 years of working such corruption from SOME greedy corrupt employees working their own repairs under the table and stealing parts and overcharging clients for repairs not needed and covering up technicians incompetence! Former service supervisor now retired (Thank God) was incompetent and hoarding parts for 30 years leaving a junk years of parts for others to clean up! The previous Windsor regional manager in 2018/19 was great and uncovered several alarming issues that he brought to the attention to upper management and was let go shortly after uncovering all the internal corruption! I hope the new manager now can continue to look after the employees, Good Luck!"

Service Technician (Former Employee) says

"Smoke shows and magic mirrors"

Wire Harness Assembler (Former Employee) says

"The minster crown is an awful place to work. They say how it is a family oriented plant they care about no one but themselves. Hr lies management lies they keep the people who will lie on people. That place is a joke awful turn over rate! Avoid that place!"

Line Worker (Former Employee) says

"Company is fraught with unethical practices. Management conduct is unethical, and the company is run in a secretive manner. Many people disappear without reason."

Warranty Administrator (Former Employee) says

"No room for advancement! You’re stuck but expected to set goals at review time. There is no leadership or coaching to obtain your goals. Expected to stay after work be flexible without compensation. Micromanagement and company politics at its best! Majority of managers and supervisors have no people or management skills; there is no"

Field service tech (Former Employee) says

"Its funny how one day it seems you have a great job and people treat you like a humanbeing and one its gone due to people trying to make a name for themselfs and being dishonest and use you to get ahead and you lose it all dont trust Crown lift its not what it use to be dont trust anything anyone says from Crown hopping one day someone will make this right it cost me everything"

Account Manager (Current Employee) says

"The top management made this position out to be the best opportunity that anyone could ever want. I asked pointed questions during the interview process. How many salesman have you had in the territory for the past 7 years? Did you promote or fire the last salesman? They mislead me right from the start. This company does nothing but churn and burn through salespeople with managers that have never sold a thing!"

Gestion d'inventaire du magasin (Former Employee) says

"Let's see where to start . When hired was a new position created ,there will be training and would take a year to learn everything . Well it turned into everything was a rush . No training ,no help"

Line Operator (Former Employee) says

"Very petty women, and 99% of the place is women. Most of the caddiness comes from management tho. Crown knows what it's doing by only having women run women at this plant because a man would never get away with treating women the way they are treated here. Cons: Everything other than the hours"

Technician (Former Employee) says

"Crown management likes too blow smoke and fairy dust to technicians, they claim to have support, false they claim to give you perks, false they claim you have overtime, false. Something needs to be done with their structure. Upper management only cares about numbers. Everything they tell you is a lie do not be fooled by ryder or crown management. I was a technician for ryder concord for 6 years and in that time all suggestions went on deaf ears. They don't care about you or you're family only thir numbers. Cons: Alot"

Technician (Current Employee) says

"In my time at crown the company showed poor communication and poor leadership. There is no open door policy.. management and HR is weak takes forever for answer simple questions. All the good reviews are done by HR.. dont be fooled. Cons: Management"

Field Service Technician (Current Employee) says

"Great job if you like to be gps tracked 24/7 Cons: No vacation till one year, no personal time for one year"

Customer Care (Former Employee) says

"Those 2 years were the worst experience of my life. The people are blood suckering, back stabbers. No team work, everyone out for their selves. Disgusting people - language, atmosphere, environment. it was so bad it physically made me sick to work there. No support from management. They hired me when I had been out of work and needed a job but I had no idea how bad it could get. Cons: People, management, location, supplies, uncomfortable chairs to sit in for 8 hours a day"

Dedicated Employee (Former Employee) says

"Don't waste your time with this pathetic excuse for a business. Look and apply at Raymond or Yale. Cons: bad management especially at the corp level"

Branch Service Manager (Former Employee) says

"This company wouldn't know a good dedicated employee if they stared them in the face. They employe CIA/FBI tactics to get rid of people they for what ever reason, they don't like or share any different opinions. The VP of Branch Service Operations (DM) said to us quote "If people don't like it, they can leave". This was said after several employees complained of tension and stress at the workplace after suffering threats from a certain Branch Manager. If there is ever a time when Crown Service Technicians need to form a Union, it is now. Don't Work for this Company!!!! Cons: no employee respect."

Outside Sales (Former Employee) says

"At first it seems great then you realize the company is full of backstabbing liars. Management only wants to make themselves succeed. Woman do not get looked at the same as men and do not get the same recognition for the same job. They throw everyone under the bus and do not fix actual problems. They make promises to get you to do extra work and then they give others the recognition. I had never felt so bad at a job before in my life. The HR dept kicks things under the rug including s*xual inappropriateness and poor out of control management. Going to the head quarters feels like you're in a cult and you have to morph into their ideal person. Its disgusting and you will get no where unless you keep your mouth closed and eyes down. Cons: Hr, Management"

NIL (Current Employee) says

"Typical day at work - see Boss mood Cons: Nil"

Current Employee - Warehouse Coordinator says

"I have been working at Crown Equipment full-time for more than 5 years Cons: Company will claim to value you as an employee but as soon as they don't need you anymore its like all the hard work you put in doesn't matter."

Former Employee - Field Service Technician says

"I worked at Crown Equipment full-time for more than 5 years Cons: The company's response to covid-19 was absolutely deplorable. They cut benefits and tried to profit off of it by selling "sanitization services" without providing any protective equipped to employees. Technicians were as busy as usual yet the company claimed to be less profitable somehow. They were making cuts before the pandemic though and used it to justify their greed. The Dicke family doesn't care about anything but money. There's very little diversity and I witnessed a female office worker being asked to put on a technician uniform so they could take pictures and make it seem its more diverse than it is. If you're reading this you're way better than this company and should find employment elsewhere."

Current Employee - Field Service Technician says

"I have been working at Crown Equipment full-time for more than 3 years Cons: You're just a number They will take your benefits to protect big wigs Severely understaffed and will work you to death for less compensation than if fully staffed. They took ALL of our benefits and told us "be happy you still have a job""

Current Employee - Technician says

"I have been working at Crown Equipment full-time for more than 3 years Cons: I’m employed by Crown NY. Things may vary from branch to branch... Crown skimps and gives competitors the advantage: First 45 minutes of travel is unpaid, No paid travel home, $550 MAX annual retirement match, health care is expensive, very little paid time off, pay is on the lower side of the scale and they won’t even do the small things like a holiday party (only a party for office personnel, not for the field service techs), Holiday gift is $50 (taxed) that you receive during a meeting. You also get a sense from the office that you are beneath them or a lesser person (may be different in other locations). Crown is having issues with employee retention. Most likely due to the things listed above and the fact you will never build retirement. During the pandemic Crown was very quick to make cuts, It seemed premature. No retirement contributions, no overtime, no raises and they took away the birthday bonus."

Current Employee - Administrative Assistant says

"I have been working at Crown Equipment full-time for more than a year Cons: Harassment, bullying, dishonesty, inflexible hours"

Former Employee - Account Manager says

"I worked at Crown Equipment full-time for more than 3 years Cons: Upper management only likes “yes” men. They have tracking devices in all cell phones. They know where you are at all times. They use this information against you."

Current Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"I have been working at Crown Equipment full-time for more than 3 years Cons: Males in the company aren’t held accountable and are allowed to demoralize and gossip about anyone, especially when protected by a member of the management or executive team. This has resulted in breeding a culture that prefers placing fear over employees, intimidation and history of hiding harassment. Many males use their power in unethical ways. They would rather ignore and sweep things under the rug. Many concerning behaviors and a lack of action to correct them are influenced by the management and executive team because they want to hide and protect their own. Turnover is high and very much a good old boys club mentality. They will continue to lose great employees until bad managers are dealt with fairly and properly."

Former Employee - Field Service Technician says

"I worked at Crown Equipment full-time for less than a year Cons: Poor training, all training is done by watching short videos that don't give enough information to perform work properly, there will be no help given while training. Better have tons of experience as a mechanic before applying for job, otherwise you will not get any help figuring out where parts and grease zerks are located. During training they teach you how to do preventive maintenance on trucks that should take 6 hours to complete properly, but in the real world they only give you and 1 1/2 hours to complete work. Plan on spending thousands of dollars to supply all tools needed to do job. Must be OK with being tracked 24/7, tracking units installed in all company vehicles. Must be willing to work in all types of conditions, dark, dirty, noisy, and moving very heavy tires and other equipment. They claim the job is 40 hour work week, but if you don't work OT you will end up ON THE LIST. You will need to watch your back some lead technicians will throw you under the bus."

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"I worked at Crown Equipment full-time Cons: Management sucks lies about employees most of management covers for themselves but not employees tons of false promises and lies very unprofessional. Hr is a joke"

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"I worked at Crown Equipment full-time for more than a year Cons: Multiple problems have been reported within this company regarding harassment, yet nothing has been done. Turnover is extremely high and thus clients are not taken care of. The kool aid mentality is prevalent among tenured Managers while newer employees are rightfully alarmed by the White Good Old Boys Club mentality. This is the first job I disliked and it was due to the latter which allowed me and others to be harassed and bullied."
